Press-Tite on the job

The applications for Press-Tite in the domestic and commercial setting has been vastly increased due to several factors. These include the availability and diversity of fitting and valve, so enhancing the installation opportunity to feature popular fittings and valves, and also the reduction of prices for press tools. This video section supports the use of press systems in the installation of heating, hot water and potable plumbing systems. The Press-Tite range of fittings and valves includes the following, elbows, tees, straight couplers, cross-overs, reducers and reducing tees, as well as a range of Male and female iron fittings that allow threaded fittings to copper tube. The Press-Tite range of valves include lever ball valves, T-handled ball valves, full bore and normal bore isolation valves. There is also service valves, washing machine valves in various formats and check valves, single and double check. The fittings and valves conform to WRAS and KIWA respectively with applications for gas, water and potable water. All water fittings are WRAS approved and feature EPDM o-rings in black that can be used on heating, hot water and potable. The gas fittings have yellow o-rings that are HNBR and certified to use on gas.
