Press-Tite has been developed as a full range of press fittings for gas and water including potable water. The Press-Tite Water range are WRAS approved so can be used on heating, hot water and potable water systems including drinking water. Fully supported in the UK by specialised stockists the Press-Tite range has been developed for the professional trades. These include M&E contractors, HVAC, Plumbing and Heating engineers who have adopted the use of press fittings due to their reliability and leak-free closure. The Press-tite range uses the M-Profile design of fitting which has become the go to for the trade. All Press-tite fittings conform to a standard of weight and material to ensure that there is a positive connection every time.

The download section includes technical details on the Press-Tite range. This includes the WRAS certificate and the BSI number for the gas range. The gas range of Press-Tite fittings has a yellow o-ring that is manufactured to meet the rquirements for use with gas and is uses HNBR material. The water range of Press-Tite fittings have black o-rings and are suitable for heating, hot water and potable water. The o-ring uses EPDM material that is certified for use with drinking water. Press-Tite uses the M-profile style of press fitting commonly used in the UK by heating engineers, underfloor installers and M&E contractors. This is because it is a reliable and versitle fitting that can be used for many different applications in domestic, commercial and industrial settings. Press-Tite is used in conjunction with a mechanical or battery operated press tool that uses hydraulic pressure to deform the fitting to make the connection. With battery operated press tools now lightweight and compact there use is increasing with many applications.
